The Edmonton 2015 Summer Universiade Bid Committee would like to thank all of its partners and generous sponsors and donors, as well as the Edmonton general public.
Edmonton did not win the right to host the 2015 Summer Universiade, but it wasn't because of a lack of support from all of the caring, community-minded people who helped us present a world-class bid.
The bidding process allowed us to forge important relationships and showcase Edmonton on an international stage. It was an excellent learning experience for all involved, and we expect the attained knowledge will provide valuable insight to those who make efforts to attract the world to our wonderful city in the future.
