According to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development there are an estimated five million migrant workers in North America, including those who are undocumented. These workers have significantly contributed to the growth of the US and Canadian economies over the last decade. Several questions still remain: are the labour rights of these migrants fully respected? Are their human rights taken into account? Are their economic contributions truly valued? Come and discuss the issues and controversies surrounding migrant labour in North America.
