The Missouri TeleRehabilitation Training Program creates permanent behavioral health access for rural Missourians with traumatic brain injury (TBI). This project is conducting research and training to assist persons with TBI into employment, the community and independence through information technology teleconferencing applications. Saint Francis University’s Center of Excellence for Remote and Medically Under-Served Areas (CERMUSA) was founded in 1994 and is based at the university’s Loretto, Pennsylvania campus.  Principally funded by the United States Department of Defense through its  Telemedicine and Advanced Technology Research Center (TATRC), CERMUSA tests, evaluates, demonstrates, and assesses "best practices" in providing healthcare services and education utilizing appropriate, available technology. Advanced Rehabilitative Technologies - In 1998, Sister Kenny Rehabilitation Institute, Catholic University of America and National Rehabilitation Hospital were awarded a five-year grant from the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR). International

International Society for Telemedicine - The International Society for Telemedicine (ISfT) exists to facilitate the International dissemination of knowledge and experience in Telemedicine and e-Health, and to provide access to recognized experts in the field worldwide.

The objectives of Telemedicine and E-health Information Service (TEIS) are to bring together those working in the field of telemedicine, telecare and ehealth; to encourage them to share information and experience; and to provide an information resource on telemedicine activity in the UK. The Telemedicine and E-health Information Service is run by the University of Portsmouth.

The European Health Telematics Assocation (EHTEL) has established this website to raise the public awareness for eHealth, Health Telematics and related fields of interest. Furthermore the EHTEL Association uses this website for the internal communication with its membership. The information on the website is reflecting our best possible knowledge and is regularly updated.
