Extensions and Renewals
Generally, in order to get a project grant end date extended, agency authorization or an agreement amendment is required.
For renewals and extensions, start the procedure early.
-
For grants, allow at least three months before the end date.
-
For contracts, allow at least six months before the end date.
Refer to the sponsor's terms and conditions to determine eligibility for an extension.
Contact your RFO if you have any questions.
