Research Makes Sense For Students

The University of Alberta would like to provide both undergraduate and graduate students with the enriched and distinctive learning experience that comes from being part of a dynamic research community. The Research Makes Sense for Students initiative is focussed on evaluating the integration of teaching and research on campus, celebrating the creativity and initiative of those who are involved in student research, and profiling student research activities within the campus community and the external community.

The University of Alberta is one of Canada's finest research-intensive universities and among a handful of the world's best. The Research Makes Sense for Students initiative honours the university's mandate to train outstanding students to become the next generation of outstanding leaders.
