Professional and Community Engagement
Currently convening a large, multi-sectoral exercise around citizen deliberation
and climate change in Alberta. (Here is the project summary from a pending CURA grant application for the project.)
Organized and facilitated community dialogues around issues of disability,
contribution, and inclusion, in coalition with a range of NGOs and
disability organizations (2003, 2004, 2005)
Speaks and works with civil servants and public organizations around
democratic consultation and dialogue (e.g. Alberta Teacher's Association,
Alberta Environment, civil servants from Alberta and Saskatchewan,
Self-Advocacy Federation of Alberta).
