Engineering and Infrastructure We have changed our name from Planning and Infrastructure.
Engineering and Infrastructure is responsible for creating and renewing the buildings that house the teaching, research and administrative activities of the University. Maintenance and renewal within University buildings require careful alignment of limited resources. Infrastructure combines the specialized knowledge and skill sets of architectural, engineering design and planning technologists, project managers, coordinators, estimators, and trades people to focus strategically on projects and renewal programs in support of learning and research.
With five city campuses, the Augustana campus in Camrose, over 23,000 hectares of total land (owned and leased), 1.3 million square metres of gross space, and over 450 buildings to manage, this is a demanding responsibility. The department brings together the skills of engineers, project managers, technologists, and trades to provide quality environments in support of learning and research.
If you need immediate assistance with a maintenance issue or have concerns about a campus building or the area surrounding a building, contact a Facility Services Manager or the Customer Call Centre at 780.492.4833.
