The petroleum engineering division offers the degree of M.Eng., M.Sc. and Ph.D. in petroleum engineering. The M.Eng. program is course work based (with a project) while the M.Sc. and Ph.D. programs are research based. Students working on the M.Sc. and Ph.D. programs take courses in the first one to one and half years and subsequently focus on their research work.
