Up to four prizes of $500 each may be awarded annually to successful applicants of the NASA Prize competition.

• Applicants must be a card-carrying NASA member or a legal dependent of a card-carrying NASA member and the member must have a minimum one year of service.
• Applicants must be enrolled at the University of Alberta full-time with a grade point average of 2.0 and higher.
• Applicants must submit a completed NASA Prize application form and a 500 word essay on the topic 'the labour movement or work environments'.
• Papers should be approximately two pages double-spaced. Papers will be adjudicated by the NASA Prize Committee along with one non-NASA member who will be appointed each year.
