 Thank you for choosing to make a gift to the University of Alberta. There are a number of ways to make a gift or pledge to the U of A.
 

Online

You may make a gift or pledge right now to any area of the U of A, using a credit card and our secure online giving form. (This link will open in a new window.)

U of A Faculty and Staff can also give by payroll deduction online.

Please note all gifts made online will be issued a Canadian tax receipt. More information on gifts made from outside Canada


By Phone 

To make a credit card contribution or pledge by phone or if you have a question about gifts of securities, please call:

For Faculty and Staff members of the University of Alberta, please complete our Faculty & Staff Pledge Form (PDF) and mail it to the address listed on the form.

If you prefer to make a cash donation, please deliver your gift of cash in person to the University of Alberta's Development Office. Please do not send cash in the mail.

Gifts from outside Canada

The University of Alberta has thousands of alumni and friends living in all parts of the world.

Under the Canada-United States Income Tax Convention, University of Alberta alumni and their families (defined as: spouses, children, grandchildren, parents and siblings) may make donations directly to the University of Alberta and use the University of Alberta charitable gift receipt for their U.S. income tax returns.

For American citizens (or residents) who are not U of A alumni or related to U of A alumni, as well as gifts from corporations and foundations requiring a U.S. tax receipt, the University of Alberta has established the University of Alberta Foundation U.S.A. Inc. Individuals and organizations that make a gift to the U of A through this foundation will be issued a U.S. charitable gift receipt. Gifts to the University of Alberta Foundation USA Inc. can be made payable to:
