The U of A HealthInfo pages are operated by the Health Education Program of the University Health Centre (UHC).

The Health Education Program at the University of Alberta was established in 1988 to provide education to students on the topic of HIV and AIDS, as mandated in the General Faculties Council Policy on AIDS. For 20 years, our program has been offered to the campus community by the University Health Centre (UHC), as part of the U of A Student Services.
Our mission is to catalyze and facilitate the adoption of health-enhancing attitudes and behaviours.
This site provides health information that’s relevant to our student community and the services of the UHC. This site also describes our Peer Health Educator program that addresses stress, alcohol and sexual health issues and the Peer Nutrition Educator Program that covers nutrition and body image.
