  • Work In Progress: A three-year study of teacher education for literacy teaching being conducted at three Candian universities.  The study follows a group of beginning teachers through their 4th year of teacher education and into the first two years of their teaching careers.  The focus is on the participants' needs as literacy teachers, the supports provided by the profession, and the teachers reflections on the literacy courses they took in their pre-service program.
