Regulations For Supervision

In general the Department has the responsibility for seeing that the Supervisor and Supervisory Committee are competent and experienced enough to serve at the required level. [Calendar 202.9].

Membership of the Supervisory Committees

1. For the PhD the Supervisory Committee shall consist of three (3) full-time faculty members from the Department, the Supervisor being the Chair, additions being made for the Examining Committee as outlined below.

2. For the MA the Supervisory Committee shall consist of two (2) full-time faculty from the Department plus one (1) from outside the Department. It will also act as the Examining Committee as outlined below.
