Our Services
Our IT Services team is responsible for providing information technology services within the Faculty of Arts. Our mandate encompasses providing all facets of technical computing support for teaching, research, and administration. These services include:
- Hardware Services
- Consulting with researchers on hardware requirements for research projects
- Providing quotes on computer systems and peripheral
- Ordering and purchasing systems as part of the faculty's ever-greening plan and research requirements
- Configuring, maintaining, troubleshooting standard computer equipment purchased through Arts
- Warranty execution on standard computer equipment.
- Software Services
- Installation, maintenance, and trouble shooting of operating systems and standard suite of software
- Patching and updating of operating systems and standard suite of software
- Network Services
- Providing a connection to the Arts Network
- Firewall configurations
- Network Printer installation and configuration
- Arts network account creation

- Technical Support
- Front line technical support for instructors, researchers, administrators and support staff
- Phone, email, or desk-side support for standard desktops and laptops
