This investigation is a follow-up to Institute project "Validation of the Gambling Cognitions Inventory" (#34) which was funded in 2003-04. Scale validation is an iterative process which involves examining the performance of a scale under different situations and with different samples of participants.  The goals of this project are twofold: to perform secondary analysis of the available data on the GCI and to compile the results into a test manual to promote its use by clinicians and researchers.
